Spring Day Event

Good Day Fullerites.

The Sports and Entertainment reps have decided to collaborate on an event that will allow Fullerites to unwind and celebrate the coming of a new season. Spring Day aims to celebrate the earth returning to its vibrant and colourful self as we will start to see flowers blooming and plants growing. This is a period of rebirth and growth and we hope to carry this sentiment into our event.

This event will be fun and all we need to complement it is our bright personalities as Fullerites. Be ready to have fun. Wear your brightest colours and come join us.

Georgina

Greeting Fullerites,

I hope that you are all doing well.

As the 2021 House Committee is approaching the end of our term, we wanted to find a way for us to leave behind a gift for the residence. We have therefore decided to give the Georgina, the space currently being used for A quad’s storage, a makeover and have it become the vibrant space that it was intended to be within Fuller. The Georgina is meant to be a coffee bar/ hang out space where Fullerites can bring their friends and relax during their free time so we wanted to ask you, the Fullerites, what you want this space to be like? What would you like to have/ be able to do in the Georgina?

Please add your suggestions to this google form.

Warmest Regards

Lip Sync Battle

Hello everyone

I hope you are all doing well.

I am happy to announce that Fuller Hall will be hosting a Lip Sync Battle: Cultural Day Edition. This means it is not any regular lip sync battle, but we will be lip syncing on South African Throwbacks. Any song choice is welcome as long as it is not a recently released song. Mafikizolo, Malaika, Bongo Muffin, Mi Casa, Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Brenda Fassie, Lira, Freshlyground, Winnie Kumalo, Trompies, Big Nuz, DJ Cleo, Dr Malinga and more are one of the options you can consider if you have no idea what you want to do.

The above artists are to give you an idea of what you can start focusing on, other artists and song choices are also welcome. This is an event where we chill and have fun, we would really appreciate participation. This is going to be a fun event where we all dance and have fun and listen to songs that remind us of our childhood. Come and join us to enjoy the amazing performances from our participants and snacks!

Date: 19 September 2021

Time: 7pm-9pm

Venue: Fuller Hall Upper Common Room

There will also be prizes for the top 3 performances🤩.
