Greetings Fullerites,

I hope that you are all doing well and had a restful vac. Thank you to everyone who participated. Here, you will find a link to access the form to vote for your top 2 hoody designs and, additionally, your favourite (1) bucket hat design. At the end of the voting process, we will be sending the designs to our manufacturer to have them made for Fullerites to purchase. Res For Res 2021

Hello everyone!

I hope you are all doing well.

Welcome to Res4Res 2021!

Res For Res is an annual UCT residences drama festival that is held in second semester. Residences are normally given a theme and must present a play around the given theme. This year it will be run online like last year.

In these uncertain times we can turn to art as a way to express ourselves and work through the difficulties we are experiencing. This year we encourage you to submit under one or more of three categories: Writing, visual art and video performance. The theme this year is:

ISOLATION: "I could be bounded in a nutshell and count myself a king of infinite space, were it not that I have bad dreams" (Hamlet Act 2, Sc 2).

Stay tuned for more information on the theme but remember: whatever the theme means to you is the best place to start.

Students who sign up will receive regular support from creative team and if elected will be added to Res4Res WhatsApp group. If you want more information about this event, please contact the culture and drama representative in you residence.

We can’t wait to see what you create!

Warmest Regards,

Andi Colombo
